"Contact Us" page on Limited Accounts...

I have 5 limited accounts with funds being held and none of them can access the "Contact Us" page to call or email PayPal. The page just times out and says it cannot be displayed.

My fully functional stealth accounts can access the Contact Us page with no issues at all.

Has anyone else experienced this - only noticed it within the last week or so?

Limited and suspended accounts can lose the ability to contact eBay directly, you can go to the resolutions page on paypal and deal with issue on there, uploading any ID documents they are asking for etc.

It was just a glitch yesterday. It wasn't just limited accounts.

Just google PayPal customer service number and call in using the number from your account, and the prompts will ask would u like for us to look up your account using the number you called in with, say yes, and your good

And if you don't have the number you can just skip right down to talking to a rep who will ask for your email and a couple other questions about the account

im having same problem, usually when they limit an account they give options to resolve, theres no options to resolve snd cant contact them or access help tab.
im thinking whether telephoning them is a good idea.

Never recommended to ring in as can attract unwanted attention to your account, going by the comments already in this thread looks like it coukd be another glitch anyway, have you tried different browsers as well to see if any of those clears it? In two or three days if it hasn't cleared I would follow DMSharks tip to google PayPal customer service number and call in using your account number, there should b prompts asking if you want them to use the number you entered when you called in to look up your account, indicate yes, and apparently you should be good to go from there.

I can confirm this has happened on all 3 of my limited accounts. It's not a glitch. Its just another **** you from paypal. To keep us from retrieving our accounts. I even tested it. When i created a fully verified new account, if the contact us, or help tab would open. It it checks out fine. No issues at all. However once i get limited bam! I get an redirection loop error. When attempting to contact them.

Hi Marcus, have you tried that tip for ringing in from DMShark by getting the PayPal customer service number from Google ?

Yes. I just got off the phone with them. I must confess paypal's support staff is very polite and professional on over the phone. They informed me. I needed to provide photo id, Or proof of address, to regain access to my account. Which is odd. Because i verified my location with entropay. Real bank account, And mobile phone.

You mean when you first started selling you used the Entropay card? You must have got near the £1900 limit have you, and so they are asking for you to submit further proof of who and where you are, just go ahead and do that, you should be fine if the thinks you submit are accepted.

How can i provide this information. With a stealth account? I doubt it would be so simple as randomly searching over a phone book. And submitting the documents under my stealth paypal's alias. Or using Photoshop.

This started happening way back when the first 'confirm your identity' limitations came back in November

Re: "Contact Us" page on Limited Accounts...

Just call , the account is already limited, they will just let u know if your able to appeal and tell you where to find what you need to send them, and you can tell them you don't want to send anything and start 180 days or 45 days whichever they make u wait
