Try to avoid cases.
If you get cases then there is not much you can do if your just selling online, so think about a way in which you can post your service.

if i receive payments as donates, will that work?

ohh okay. so i just post an empty item will it work?

There is a problem if you receive anything other than payment. Why is this hard to understand? Review your business model. Maybe ship a small item with tracking each order. even if it is a business card.

I am not sure it can be said any other way....

You have to take payment as a normal payment. Simple as that. No other way around

Everything other than a regular payment raises security concerns. Donations can be accepted only when there is a website, that clearly states about it's product or services, and offers users to make a donation. For example, WikiPedia. But just taking donations regularly from unknown persons for no reason is a big NONONO.

Listen to what these experienced members are telling you. They are helping you and it just seems you do not understand.

1. Do not take payments from friends or family...EVER!

2. Do not take donations...EVER!!

3. After auction is over, print the ebay listing/receipt and mail it to them with tracking information and them upload the tracking info through PP.

If your selling digital goods this is your best option to keep your account in good standing.

I HOPE THIS HELPS AND I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING.

I would try getting angry with them and say you dont have everything they ask for and it is impossible to get it. See what they tell you. Even better try calling them and talking in person. You did nothing wrong , right? ;)
