paypal frozen my account with 1300 usd in it, i can't log in.

Well , i called them again and this time i had a nicer rep.

After explaining him everything, he said that my account has not gone forever, system just locked it until 180 days pass. He even asked me the last 4 digit of my creidt card to confirm my identity.. He was able to see my account and the balance..

He also said that '' if there is money in the account, we cannot just just it down for good, there is no way we can hold your money forever''..

He also notified me that my account has been limited on july so 180 days passed and there is no point for us to keep your money.

Finally he told me that he has escelated my case to risk department and my fund will be avaliable soon.

Thanks God...


I dunno why you guys exaggrate all the time and say that money has gone forever.. I have been doing this since 2008 and no money has ben seized yet and i never heard one incidident where account owner's money has been seized by paypal. )

PayPal can keep your money but it does not happen very often, and it has to be a clear case of fraud or Identity theft

But your right it down not happen that often, not like you hear all the cases where Amazon just deletes accounts
