Tell them you want to add it to withdraw as you have a supplier in the US and it makes life a lot easier to pay them. Tell them you don't want to verify your account with it but only take money from PayPal to it.

Last I checked Italy and UK were 2 completely different Countries....The OP is asking about UK not Italy.
