Wow, this sounds highly suspicious and illegal. I smell another class action lawsuit in the making. Their "indisputable proof" would have to be rock solid for it to hold up in court. I mean almost everything between the 2 accounts would have to be the same. I am not doubting the underhanded Paypal would not try it, but that it would hold up in court.

Again very weak evidence for "indisputable proof". I obtained an email from hotmail that was previously used by a business. I know because i still get emails from people wanting to buy stuff from him using paypal. If he had it linked to his paypal account and then deleted it, if I used it again at paypal we would be "indisputably link" by their thinking. The case would be thrown out on those basis.

my head is spinning!

My advice, Leave it alone and BUY THE STEALTH BOOK. I have had a couple of paypal accounts w/ money owed, that hasn't been linked.
If you file in court you have to file with your real name and your real name is attached to the paypal account that you owe money to. You can't file in court with a false name. Walk away, Buy the stealth book and you will be fine.

denied! 03-09-2009 05:12 AM

Similiar case - Paypal reviewed my account - sent them loads of ID and invoice info - they lifted restrictions then slammed then down again - phoned them - got told that I had a previous account, they eventually gave me enough clues to track down the old account (6 years old!) this had a negative balance of £8 which I put right and asked for them to close the account. They said they wont close it for 6 months, and wont lift the restrictions on my newer working account as I have two accounts! So in other words they wont close the first account and wont let me use the second because I have two!! They also wont let me have £400 of my own money for 6 months - and because they aren't a bank TRading Standards say I cant do a thing!

sammywantsya 03-09-2009 08:45 PM

well i have been paid and I'm not going to use paypal anymore so good bye paypal

sammywantsya 03-12-2009 07:02 PM

OK i don't think i need a stealth book for now
since i can withdrawal my money from my bank account

and i can receive payments

so what does that mean?

yaw1800 03-12-2009 08:40 PM

it means never leave any money in that paypal and start setting up another ebay/paypal account if you havent already done so

i had read over the forum again to get a good understanding of what was going on,,

if you can withdraw and send payments, thats one of their lighter limitations... but what exactly are you trying to figure out???

sammywantsya 03-23-2009 07:58 PM

ok i just had seen my account today and it says i cant receive payments

when my account was limited its says i can receive my payments and now i can't receive my payments....

will i be able to still receive payments like i had before when its limited ?

sammywantsya 03-23-2009 08:14 PM

why edit my post ? just a question i like to get an answer from you guys =/

In a nutshell, your questions have been answered. If you ever intend to use PayPal in the future to receive payments, forget about those 2 accounts you had, get the Ebay Stealth book or take your time to read posts on this forum and than follow instructions how to create new PayPal account that will last. But if you intend to stiff PayPal for money, just know that you will be blacklisted by them and PP will go out of their ways to link you and find you again! So, that's a No, NO!:nono:

On the other hand, if you don't plan to ever use Ebay to sell your stuff and don't need another PayPal account, IMO you don't really need the help of this forum.:violin::violin:
