Which bank accept mismatch name?
 

Hello everyone,

I know there are many threads about "bank accept or unaccepted mismatch name. I have opened with checking and Saving acct with no problem mismatch as shown below,
1. BoA,
2. FNBO
3. PNC
4. State Farm Bank
4. US Bank

I need more bank name which accept mismatch name in U.S. Please advise

ok, I already have BoA, FNBO, PNC, State Farm Bank ,US Bank and Chase bank with mismatch..

What else other bank name?

How about you tell us which banks you are considering and maybe someone can chime in.

ok, How about
1. Santander Bank
2. Woodforest National Bank
3. HSBC
4. RaboBank
5. navy federal credit union
6. Ibew credit union
7. Barclays online savings
8. Sun trust
9. usaa bank

OK, Now.....go to the search function and type in each of those banks and see what comes up.

Well, You see sometimes it's a good idea to some actual legwork of your own. We can't possibly check every bank you mentioned, AND in some cases those banks have come up in previous threads. So, it would be a good start to do a search for said banks to see if someone has already given an answer, you just might be surprised to know someone already gave their opinion.

The search function works pretty good....I would definitely recommend it.

One would think with the recent fraud issues with them making up accounts at Wells they may not be so friendly on mismatched names soon. Just a thought to look out for.

Doubt that banks are monitoring this forum....they have other things to worry about.

Quickly? doubt that....but some things are best not spoken in public forum and usually the Moderators will take down a thread if they feel is not appropriate for open forum talk.

So you have FNBO, does it work over the long run? I heard such small banks often close accounts if two many mismatch transfers occur.

Some smallish regional banks and credit untions that depend on a correspondent or parent bank to route their transactions though seem to be a bit more strict on 3rd party deposits via Fedwire (ACH).

I've used Wells Fargo, Chase, Citibank, and BofA with no problems. As others have confirmed, they don't seem to mind mis-matches. YMMV when it comes to frequency, and amount you are transacting tho.

Barclays online savings is no good they do not accept mismatched names
HSBC works for me
Santander works as well

No experience with the other banks you mentioned

but if it's mismatched, doesn't the bank still mail something out to the address on file? Wont the person just call the bank if they receive mail to their address from the bank?

Am I overthinking?

I would have to think the DOLLAR VALUE plays a huge part in what is looked at.

The information you give to the bank is 100% yours. You do not give stealth information to the bank. You provide real information to the bank.

You simply take the bank account number and add it to your stealth PayPal account. When you withdraw money, the deposit will show up as coming from the stealth name, but if you use the correct banks it will not be a problem.
