My PayPal account is 5 years old that I bought and it can't send or buy anything. Does it just need to get used to my IP it has $50 I'm trying to use and I just can't. I get the same message.

if nothing changes after a few days then you re a victim of the new update. has there been consistent activity on the account in the five years that it's been opened?

If it does not go away in 2-3 days, you might try to call in, they are able to fix it in most cases.

I think it's definitely flagging something because unless I login prior to checkout in another tab, I am told that there is suspicious activity and I need to confirm my identity at the checkout.
