Default Best strategy on US business funds availability / 21 day hold

A month ago, I received a $3,000/month funds availability email. 21 day hold, but when marked shipped it becomes available usually in 4-5 days.

If the goal is keeping the account in good standing, and long term growth on the monthly funds availability, and not worrying about the short term cashflow, what's the best strategy?

I'm not sure what happens if I click that button asking for an increase. Does it risk the account? Might that trigger them asking for docs?

Should I just let the system bump it whenever it decides to?

I saw other threads recommending going with personal account, then later upgrading to business. I'll do that in the future, but want to keep this one going. I did open this one as a business account.

You got the release amount because you started as a business account rather than upgrading but I'm sure you knew that. In my experience uploading a tracking number makes absolutely no difference in the funds availability time. You get access to the first $3k per month and the rest of payments are held for 21 days, period. In my experience at least.

They automatically review your account monthly even if you don't request a higher release amount. So chances are if you're maintaining good customer service and aren't ripping off customers the release amount will be raised within a few months and will eventually go away. They want your business to grow but not at their expense.

Honestly though since you started as a business account I don't see any harm in clicking the button to request a higher release amount. You already have an EIN on file right?

Their email to me only said it was a 21 day hold, but any time something got even marked as shipped even if it didn't have a tracking number, it massively shortened the number of days.

Yes, real EIN on file. Have managed to not go through a full doc request for a stealth account, and weary about how it would go if it got triggered.
