When you sell an item on ebay, the paypal payment has a description of why the money is being received with a link to the ebay item.

names and addresses linked you. possibly to another restricted account. I had a spell of such limitations until started getting imaginative with account names and addresses. How about a "Wimbet Threeson" who lives at "13 Green Testicle Urge lane" for my latest paypal ... never given me an issues since from those goblins at gringotts, did i say gringotts?? oops i meant paypal

Well given they aren't asking specifically for invoices and supplier info, I'd agree that it looks like it may well be linking.

The items are the same across all three accounts?

What about names and addresses? Creation dates?

Very good that you pointed Creation Dates out. paypal do have alarms that can get triggered for a set period of time, and so any paypal accounts created in that period from a similar location/ ip address, can get you limited. Take it like this , would you run across a crime scene and expect not get chased by cops combing the scene, Nope. So best let those sirens cool off and then get back to business. Give it two weeks to a month as paypal are definitely waiting for you to show up. Sorry for sounding:laugh::laugh::laugh: criminally savvy, but stealth is health, stealth is filth, stealth is wealth

The items are different. The names and address are completely different. The creation dates are the same. Are you sure it is not about the items because I clicked on confirm inventory and they were asking for invoices and suppliers.

Did you change the item you was selling or largely increase the amounts you was selling? That is typically when sellers can get this message, but probably not the only reason.

In that case it will be the items or selling too much, too quickly.

Decision time as to whether you try to restore the accounts......

Ill just take this as a loss and rebuild again. I would rather have a solid foundation.

I'm recently having problems also with a limited paypal account.

My account was a genuine one with real details been active a long time and I feel it was permanently limited unfairly (see my other post) - I am finding this hard to accept and its really affecting me at the moment but I know I need to move on from it.

Storys like this one are putting me off stealth accounts, it seems that once you go this route you need to be continuously opening new accounts and always in fear of it being closed.

Paypal told me to use a different payment gateway, which is not really possible with ebay. I am not so sure that I really need a stealth account exactly, wouldn't it be safer to open an account using a family members genuine details (??). I am worried about how paypal will link this account to the old one, not sure how much is true but it seems they can electonically link the account in so many ways. I would need a new ebay I guess, but all the other stuff like isp, computer, android apps, phone numbers, listings, photos etc etc - seems very high risk the account would be closed again and be short lived before enough business has been done to even get the costs back? How can it work if you need to continuously make new acounts?
