Paypal threatening to limit account fo no SN#

Background story, I was in college and was selling a replica item about 10 years ago. They banned me for selling forever. 10 years down the road I have had a good stealth account since 2015, good standing, powerseller, selling legit items. making about 500 a month, sales are about $1200 a month.

Paypal is now asking for me give my tax ID number, such as social, employer ID, of individual tax ID otherwise they will limit my account.

If I plan to go over 20K, can I swap out the paypal account linked with the ebay to a new person and change the name in ebay to match?

Or any other options?

You should be flattered. They never threaten me, just limit at a whim. Get a DBA and use that for an EIN.
