Hehe, I knew this would happen when I opened the forum to unsubscribed members.

It's just how it is when a person isn't forced to search for their self rather than simply create a new thread. There are pros and cons to open forums, this is one of the cons.

Sure there are questions that are repeated often, but if it's something quick that can be answered I'll try to get to it. But then there are those obvious questions, like 'do I need to change my IP Address?' that irks me at times. And I might be a little short with those people.

Generally all the basic are in eBay Stealth. That's what it was created for, to save people the time of wading through the forum looking for answers. It's how the forum is supported and how it keeps going.

Pros and Cons.. I weigh them every day. And right now the pros outweigh the cons when it comes to open forums.

Ehh.. Sorry off topic..

I try not to keep *a lot of funds in my PayPal accounts. But I do leave a cushion for disputes and what not. I never really had a problem withdrawing a lot of money. It's how much money that goes in your account and how fast it goes in that matters.

nomore ... VERY WELL PUT!

The original question from brownlad " how much to safely withdraw? "
Now he was told this is an old topic and he should read previous threads.
If you read previous threads you will notice that there is a lot of conflicting info.
HWGA has stated in previous threads that you never want to withdraw more than 499$ per day. Aspkin has just said that withdrawing a lot of money is less important than recieving a lot of money. It appears to me that there is room for more discussion on this topic.

Paypal safety tips ..

New accounts , try not to sell too much too quick.
Keep withdrawals under 500$ and try to keep monthly sales under 1000$ for the first month or two. Slowly increase sales and you can start to withraw and receive more.
Never let your monthly sales reach 10000$. Also paying chinese suppliers with paypal can have risks.

Can anyone add to this , or confirm or dispute any of the info ?

basically that's it...a little research on the forum will help guide you to make good descisions for your account. there are no set answers because there are no set rules as what you sell and how much the item sold for also comes into play. you just need to use your head when dealing with paypal and ebay. they can and will block you if you smell fishy to them.

Create and verify a paypal account at least one month B4 using it with ebay.
It is activity that makes paypal 'look' closely.

Everyone will have different factors when using paypal. Find the best for yourself. No hard & fast rule but many variations.

You dont have to keep it under $1000 if you are willing to follow the necessary procedure to make the pp account stronger. But i do agree with not paying suppliers in general with your pp i prefer to keep that separate from the selling accounts.
