Quick Security Check [PayPal] Ongoing Issue (No solution found)
 

Hello, I just saw all the related (similar) Threads about this issue, but none of them is helping or having the solution.

This happens to me in 2 cases for now only:
1) When I try to login to my PayPal account on my PP Application Phone (Android).

2) When I try to buy some kinds of payments for a game (from inside the game) * Notice there is no way to pay in store of that game except from the game itself => No other solution to buy.

My PP is verified with VCC and VBA as well! I'm using it for 4 years until now.
I made many Transactions with it even in Euro (Mine is USD). My PP is US , I'm from Egypt.

P.S: Tried to put a mobile phone even with the one I register in PayPal (Primary), Whatever I put in it, It keeps saying "Invalid phone number
"

Are you trying to confirm the phone # using IP address in the same country as the PP? If you are trying this from Egypt on a US PayPal, that might be the problem.

If it still doesn't work, access via desktop and try to re-confirm the # from there, again make sure you are using the IP in the same country as the PP.

This happens when the original phone has been removed or replaced....

Add a phone number manually via settings, then wait 24 hours to try it

Yeah, tried with my Egypt IP. But can you provide me a service that I can have Phone Number for US and tell me the region to do VPN for the same Place? That would be awesome! :) Thanks.

Gotta use a VPN man. Check out 24vc.

VPN's can be problematic and the well known ones heavily abused and flagged. Use a fresh ip or vps for IP

The main culprit is your OVERUSED/ABUSED IP.

I think the security check one means the phone # has to be registered to the name on the account and able to be checked.. not just any phone # with an SMS.

Was your phone number added/changed less than a couple of months ago?

I have a dongle i check my ip before i get on paypal... anybody got a solution?

I wait a couple weeks and leave the crap in the cart....i try every day for like a month usually eventually goes through....just gotta be patient and lucky i guess

Seriously, it doesn't have to be that way if you follow the right protocol. People go the easiest way by using cheap services.

What do you mean cheap services? This just happened to my account as I was trying to pay for an item on eBay. I have an active t-mobile pre-paid number (the same as one the account was set up with) and Suntrust as bank. I've purchased and sold on this account. Is it an issue with the phone provider?

UPDATE: I cleared the cookies, browsed eBay and PayPal and left it alone for two days. I was able to make the purchase no problem today/.
