Currently Panicking & Need Some Help PayPal
 

My PayPal account has been limited, I've been using this account for the last 3 months & it's been fine (Its a stealth account that I purchased & is over 1 years old).

''We noticed some significant changes to your account activity. To help keep you and all our PayPal customers secure, we need more information to understand how these changes affect your business.''

''Help us understand your account activity by completing the following steps:

Upload a photo ID
Provide proof of your address
Upload a bank statement
Provide your business information
Provide proof of postage
Provide invoice''

I have the needed stealth 'ID', proof of address & so and so (which I've just uploaded to PP)

Problem is when I click on the 'upload bank statement' screen, I get the following message ''We’d like to verify ownership of your bank account. Please upload your most recent bank statement from Bank of Scotland plc ending in 97**''

My bank account has my real name on it, so what DO I DO?
I also don't own a business, so I have no clue what info I'm supposed to provide on the 'Provide your business information screen' - I'm also pretty confused about the 'provide invoice' screen. If somebody could help me out here I'd be very thankful as I paid a lot of money for this stealth account and it would pain me to lose it

That's too many requirements, you can try to get creative and see what happens or start over.

I've completed 'Upload ID' 'Provide Proof Of Address' & 'Provide Proof Of Postage

The one I'm worried about is 'Upload Bank Statement' - ''We’d like to verify ownership of your bank account. Please upload your most recent bank statement''

From the sound of it, you either have a lot of $$ in this account or this is your only account?

If I were in your situation, as hard as it is emotionally, I'd write down the things I can do right now that would help continue my business. And one of those steps is creating / buying new accounts .

Another step is to think back and figure out what I did differently that could trigger the limitations.


I highly recommend you get the ebay stealth. It'll really give you a wealth of knowledge. Then you'll know the intricate details of creating the accounts in the order they need to be done.

It'll also teach you how to operate those accounts correctly.

So you have 2 options now. If I were you I'd do both immediately:

1. Look into our market place and buy a few accounts so you can start selling right away.
If you need recommendations, send me a PM. I have worked with a particular seller,

2. get the eBay stealth, you can click on the link in my signature, then study it until you can make your own accounts.

you could simply change the name and address on the account to match the info you have the paypal account registered in. if you are not comfortable doing that yourself, google "second eye solutions"

You'd be crazy to send someone you don't know a bank statement with your account number, so you're going to black that out anyway, along with the account balance.

And if the bank statement magically shows the same address and info as PP, without the account number, how much 'verification' can they possibly do? :)

Good news guys, I got 'creative' and my account was restored in under 24 hours. I'm happy and have learnt much from this situation!

i mean, sure, the OP doesnt "know" paypal personally, but i dont see the problem with sending paypal a bank account statement that he has manipulated to show his stealth name and address with his actual account number

You should never give your bank account number to anyone under any circumstances.

Who can tell exactly who is going to see it or if they have proper security measures in place.

Seriously, this is common sense kind of stuff.
