Your statement above seems flawed. The whole point of stealth is for the names and address NOT to match your bank, hence the word stealth. In other words, if the names and addresses match the account, its your actual info then it is NOT a stealth account. |
| HurricaneHuntr | 11-10-2017 08:43 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer This works with stealth too, if you add the card correctly. I have been getting the stupid delays lately, but they still go through the next day, helps me use 2 for 1 on bank accounts, saves some grief and can just leave a vba on an account that's not well seasoned. |

So you mean to say that the PP can have stealth details and you can add a debit card to w/d to? Wouldn't that depend on the type of card it is?
Willing to share any examples? |

The actual concern on this thread is IF the Instant Transfer feature to debit card will work with stealth accounts. I don't know. Maybe?
I seem to recall there were others who posted they were able to w/d to their debit card on a stealth acct, but as slokor & MM78 pointed out above, it's at least likely the NAME and/or address (AVS) would need to match. However that's for debit card withdrawals. The exact method that PayPal is using to "push" the funds onto debit cards remains unclear. | I got this "For security reasons, we need a bit more time to review your transfer request. This process can take up to 72 hours. If it passes our review, we'll release it and then the regular withdrawal timeframe (about 30 mins) will then take effect. We'll email you as soon as we have an update. "" |
| nickopedia | 11-13-2017 03:33 AM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer After you login to your PayPal account, use this link to withdrawal. https://www.paypal.com/wdfunds
Best to access this page AFTER you authenticate.
This will take you to the classic GUI script and you likely won't see the "for security reasons/transfer delayed" message.
For some reason that message only seems to occur on the new site. Not sure what's going on through the backend, I am still experimenting with this and other w/d options, incl. through the site API. |

| VictorJackie | 11-24-2017 04:44 AM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Im almost positive it doesnt take longer than 24 hours or 1 business day unlike amazon |
| JHerald | 11-24-2017 12:20 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer How does this card transfer work, as in the UK, if a company sends you a VISA credit or equivalent, it takes at-least 24 hours, as the bank only processes them once a day, normally in the evening.
Do card-based transfers have a much faster system in America? Would this be the reason for PayPal not introducing it to the UK? |

| HurricaneHuntr | 12-06-2017 05:07 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Any idea why all of a sudden it's not being offered when it's worked before? I did 2-3 transfers. all fine, now it's no longer an option and yes withdraw limits are lifted... weird. |
| HurricaneHuntr | 12-06-2017 07:31 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Anyone know why it just stops working on cards? |
| tmansback | 12-27-2017 05:23 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer What you mean it stop working. I did a instant transfer today with a stealth account. Worked fine. Literally I put in for the transfer at like 2 pm. By 2:05 I was getting an notification from my bank that I had a deposit.
Really I think we need to list all the cards that this works for. Looks like it works all major cards easy and quickly. Has anyone used with some of the big bank prepaid cards? |
| nickopedia | 12-27-2017 08:49 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Tested with Wells Fargo, BofA, and Citibank debit cards all linked to respective checking accounts. All work fine- funds are applied nearly instant in the bank as soon as I press "send money" on PayPal.
I tried a couple prepaid debit cards, they don't work. This seems to only work for true DEBIT cards linked to actual BANK accounts. |
| ascend_18 | 12-28-2017 06:01 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Instant transfers also working fine with USAA cards attached to respective checking accounts. Completed within a couple of minutes! |

Re: Paypal Instant Transfer |
Re: Paypal Instant Transfer How does this work with stealth?? Been following this since day one and have not linked my my banks debit card because i could never find out if it was safe to do with stealth.
Your real name is on your debit card, ppal sees this when you link the debit card! or dont they not? |
Re: Paypal Instant Transfer ahhh**** nvm..
i take it nickopedia has only experimented instant wd with nonstealth. i had to read refresh my memory. |
| StealthGirl | 07-09-2018 03:51 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer I haven't tried withdrawing funds this way via stealth, but I am assisting a relative in paying off a massive bill that they accrued after the death of their parent. Instead of giving the money directly to them, I call the creditor every month and pay via debit card. The employee on the line always thinks that they are talking with my relative, and they run my bank of America debit card successfully because my relative and I share the same last name and zip code. I believe that those are the only two pieces of information that need to match in order for a payment to successfully go through. If I had to guess, the same is needed in order to make a successful withdraw from a stealth account. |
| kittywalt | 06-15-2019 02:09 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer I know this an old thread, but couldn’t find the answer anywhere quickly. When transferring stealth with the debit card does the zip code on the pp account and debit card need to match? |
| KnowTheGame | 06-15-2019 08:43 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer It will work. I have done it w/ a certain very well known bank. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:10 AM. | |
