| kittywalt | 09-14-2017 03:38 PM | Paypal Instant Transfer I keep seeing the pop up that says get your money in as little as 30 minutes, using your debit card. My PayPal is of course stealth, but my debit card and bank account aren't. Does anyone know if PayPal checks the name on the debit card when doing the instant transfer? I don't want to risk my account over something like this, so thought I would check here first. |
Re: Paypal Instant Transfer There's very little information out there, I've only heard of 1 member on the forum who has this but it's NOT on stealth.
My educated guess is that the following has to be met:
1. Matching Name (PayPal and Debit Card)
2. SSN (Maybe?)
3. Has to be a major Bank Card
That's all I can really think of, as of right now I don't think this would be available to just any debit card and it may require PayPal asking for more information that can't be supplied via stealth. |

| nickopedia | 09-17-2017 05:18 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer I'm using a Wells Fargo Business VISA debit card. Once I request, funds literally take less than 60 seconds to pop into the checking account it's linked to. |

| aking | 09-17-2017 07:26 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Hmmm I may try this. |
| aking | 09-17-2017 07:28 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer So I can just get a debit card for the checking account linked to my PayPal and transfer that way? Seems way too good to be true. |

| wilpetty7 | 09-19-2017 08:17 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer It works for me on a non major bank card. The address matches though |
Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Any new info on this?
Must addresses MATCH?
(checked w/ avs?) From ppal help articles:
I am getting an error when I try to link my credit or debit card. Why?
If you've tried to link your credit or debit card to your PayPal account, but received an error message, it may be because: The billing address you've entered for your PayPal account is different than the one on your card statement.
debit is not a credit card. Unless ppal's deal with visa/mc was about avs on debit cards now..? |
| slokor | 09-25-2017 11:49 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer From what I know AVS applies to debit cards as well. |
Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Then people who successfully do instant withdraws probably have matching address or possibly business accts/dba's
And I'm sure it's as easy as changing the address to match the ppal as long as you're setup for electronic banking and for a while before doing the change. |
| livelifewild | 10-06-2017 02:34 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer I would like to know more from members who have tried it themselves.
What were the steps?
What card was used?
Do the names and address factor in?
THANKS! |
| nickopedia | 10-06-2017 02:41 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Right now it's only working for select debit cards designated by PayPal.
I've personally tried it with Wells Fargo Visa Debit Card & Bank of America Checking Debit Visa. Transfers complete within a minute or two for the funds to show in their respective accounts; a lot quicker than 30 minutes.
I would assume the other debit cards issued by the other US major banks (Chase/Citi/US bank) would also work but have not confirmed that. |

And what about the name and address do they have to be the same as the stealth information on the account? |
| nickopedia | 10-06-2017 03:04 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer The two accounts I am using are NOT steath; they are using true and real details.
The actual concern on this thread is IF the Instant Transfer feature to debit card will work with stealth accounts. I don't know. Maybe?
I seem to recall there were others who posted they were able to w/d to their debit card on a stealth acct, but as slokor & MM78 pointed out above, it's at least likely the NAME and/or address (AVS) would need to match. However that's for debit card withdrawals. The exact method that PayPal is using to "push" the funds onto debit cards remains unclear. |

Your statement above seems flawed. The whole point of stealth is for the names and address NOT to match your bank, hence the word stealth. In other words, if the names and addresses match the account, its your actual info then it is NOT a stealth account. |
| HurricaneHuntr | 11-10-2017 08:43 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer This works with stealth too, if you add the card correctly. I have been getting the stupid delays lately, but they still go through the next day, helps me use 2 for 1 on bank accounts, saves some grief and can just leave a vba on an account that's not well seasoned. |

So you mean to say that the PP can have stealth details and you can add a debit card to w/d to? Wouldn't that depend on the type of card it is?
Willing to share any examples? |

This process can take up to 72 hours. If it passes our review, we'll release it and then the regular withdrawal timeframe (about 30 mins) will then take effect. We'll email you as soon as we have an update. "" |
| nickopedia | 11-13-2017 03:33 AM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer After you login to your PayPal account, use this link to withdrawal. https://www.paypal.com/wdfunds
Best to access this page AFTER you authenticate.
This will take you to the classic GUI script and you likely won't see the "for security reasons/transfer delayed" message.
For some reason that message only seems to occur on the new site. Not sure what's going on through the backend, I am still experimenting with this and other w/d options, incl. through the site API. |

| VictorJackie | 11-24-2017 04:44 AM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Im almost positive it doesnt take longer than 24 hours or 1 business day unlike amazon |
| JHerald | 11-24-2017 12:20 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer How does this card transfer work, as in the UK, if a company sends you a VISA credit or equivalent, it takes at-least 24 hours, as the bank only processes them once a day, normally in the evening.
Do card-based transfers have a much faster system in America? Would this be the reason for PayPal not introducing it to the UK? |

| HurricaneHuntr | 12-06-2017 05:07 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Any idea why all of a sudden it's not being offered when it's worked before? I did 2-3 transfers. all fine, now it's no longer an option and yes withdraw limits are lifted... weird. |
| HurricaneHuntr | 12-06-2017 07:31 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Anyone know why it just stops working on cards? |
| tmansback | 12-27-2017 05:23 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer What you mean it stop working. I did a instant transfer today with a stealth account. Worked fine. Literally I put in for the transfer at like 2 pm. By 2:05 I was getting an notification from my bank that I had a deposit.
Really I think we need to list all the cards that this works for. Looks like it works all major cards easy and quickly. Has anyone used with some of the big bank prepaid cards? |
| nickopedia | 12-27-2017 08:49 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Tested with Wells Fargo, BofA, and Citibank debit cards all linked to respective checking accounts. All work fine- funds are applied nearly instant in the bank as soon as I press "send money" on PayPal.
I tried a couple prepaid debit cards, they don't work. This seems to only work for true DEBIT cards linked to actual BANK accounts. |
| ascend_18 | 12-28-2017 06:01 PM | Re: Paypal Instant Transfer Instant transfers also working fine with USAA cards attached to respective checking accounts. Completed within a couple of minutes! |

Re: Paypal Instant Transfer How does this work with stealth?? Been following this since day one and have not linked my my banks debit card because i could never find out if it was safe to do with stealth.
Your real name is on your debit card, ppal sees this when you link the debit card! or dont they not? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:32 PM. | |
