I haven't tried withdrawing funds this way via stealth, but I am assisting a relative in paying off a massive bill that they accrued after the death of their parent. Instead of giving the money directly to them, I call the creditor every month and pay via debit card. The employee on the line always thinks that they are talking with my relative, and they run my bank of America debit card successfully because my relative and I share the same last name and zip code. I believe that those are the only two pieces of information that need to match in order for a payment to successfully go through. If I had to guess, the same is needed in order to make a successful withdraw from a stealth account. |
