Upgrading to Business Account . Error "We're sorry, something went wrong."
 

I am trying to upgrade my paypal to a business account and the last step that requires ssn , dob, and address info is giving me this error " We're sorry, something went wrong."

Never had a problem before.

Pretty straightforward.....they want last 4 digits of SSN and DOB to match.

Wait till tomorrow and try again.

In the mean time, create more accounts or buy more accounts that you can start working with.

Wait so upgrading to a business account will require SSN now? What about EIN? Can that be entered instead? Sorry been out of the loop for a while, Haven't upgraded any account into a business in a long time

I was wondering about that myself. I thought all we needed was LLC information.

I just had the same extract issue and I used last 4 digits of EIN# and actual DOB. it passes the process but not sure that would work forever.

This is definitely a glitch i just enter random info and it worked! Move along guys! P.s i just did it right now lol

Okay people it was a glitch. To clarify I followed the SAME procedure I have with seven accounts, so I know how to get pass the page, but for some reason it refused to work on this account here is what I did.

I logged in, on the page with the request, I scrolled down to the bottom and chose contact us. and I emailed them ( I'm an anti caller ). I explained the whole problem...they sent some annoying auto response.

I sent them another message with a screen shot , and that seemed to help things along. 24-48 hours later, I was told the problem was fixed.

Technically it wasn't but I was now able to withdraw. Sometimes when I login Is till get the page requesting my ssn. I scroll down, choose contact us, and then click the paypal logo in the upper left corner and Im sen't to the regular landing page. ( Im sure bookmarking the page would work too ).
