Paypal random limits - possibly IP related?

I've been using my paypal account for the better part of 2 months, I aged very the account very well and have been using my account for clean transactions, nothing illegal (both payments in and out), however I checked my account some two days ago and got this message from paypal

Quote:

Your account access has been limited
We noticed some significant changes to your account activity. To help keep you and the PayPal community secure, we need more information to understand how these changes affect your business.
Understand account limitations If you don't resolve this limitation soon, more features will be affected by 9 Dec 2017.

Impact on account: Medium
Reference ID: PP-006-277-863-059
Upload a photo ID

Provide proof of your address

Provide your business information

Provide shipment information

Provide invoice

OR
Provide Supplier Information

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this? Could this be as a result of the IP I'm using? is there a way to rectify this or is it safe to say the account is gone? Would really appreciate some help with this situation.

Nothing to do with IP. It has been caused by what you are selling / the reason you are receiving money.

So does this mean the account is gone

The only way to resolve it is to supply the information they are requesting and hope that it gets accepted.

If you do nothing, the account will remain limited.

How do I possibly supply ID and documents for a stealth paypal account?

This looks like a standard limitation and is likely because they want more info about what you are selling. They really want to see invoices/bills of sale/supplier info for the items you sell. Assuming they are legit, you should have no issues getting this resolved.

They are 100% legit but they are digital items, so how do I provide what they are asking for? that's the problem!

How long have you been selling digital items on this account before the limitation occured?

Generally speaking, PP doesn't like you selling virtual items.

More often than not, digital items = account death.

Re: Paypal random limits - possibly IP related?

I was in a similar situation as you. I sell a lot of digital items on my stealth account too. I'm still good. BUT...you are at more risk of losing your account selling digital items. I never had any real invoices for my stuff. I purchased an ID with my matchin stealth account info, and told PP I was selling my old game collection and items I bought from yard sales and conventions. So I couldn't provide a receipt/invoice. My ID had my stealth address on it so I didnt need a bill. Even tho my items were digital I shipped the codes on a printed piece of paper with tracking. PayPal wants this to show delivery and I don't tell them its digital cause they don't like sh*t. Shiping w/ tracking also gets you seller protection just in case ppl try to scam you opening dispute saying they never got it. The only thing you gotta worry about are unauthorized charge disputes. As long as your tracking says delivered to the customers address PP will resolve the case in your favor.

So if your items arent obvious digital items(Like says digital or code/key in your item descriptions) dont tell them theyre digital. Get a ID w/ ur stealth address, upload tracking numbers, and tell them you dont have invoices/receipts because of the reason I said above then pray that ID passes. Out of all the IDs I gave PP I've had a 50% success rate.

Ah the digital sales...sadly, when PP provides such a long list to fulfill....chances are rough for reinstatement even if you provide said documentation...just being real
