Default dispute as a seller

Hello,

One buyer ordered an item around three months ago and once it was not delivered to the buyer in 30 days, buyer opened a case on eBay asking for refund and the case was closed in his favor since at that time the information on the tracking websites was still "on transit" for that package. By then i have filed a claim through my post office for reclamation in order my national post service and PostNord Sweden to investigate what happened with this package; either deliver it to the buyer or simple declare that package is lost. I asked from the buyer on the case if he can wait till we hear back from the post service and in case the package is lost sure i issue the refund.He asked eBay step-in and eBay refunded his money and asked me to send shipping documents and additional information for appeal but even though i have provided them, the appeal also denied and they kept the original outcome by excusing the package still not delivered.

1.5 months later after their deny on the appeal, finally his package has been found by the post office and delivered to him in 68 days.But even though that eBay has rejected to issue the funds back to me for this transaction excusing they not make any further decision for the appealed cases.Then i have contacted with PayPal for the seller protection since it is obvious now that the buyer got both the goods and the money but they redirected me back to eBay and suggest to open a case on eBay which is not possible.

In this case what can i do with PayPal? Can i anyhow open a dispute on PayPal as seller for this transaction ? I couldn't find such an option, i am using Russian PayPal by the way.

I have the same problem ... I recommend that you contact the client and reach an agreement, it is usually fixed.

You are responsible to timely delivery. You are at fault, not the buyer. This is a cost of international business at times. Especially with the cheap epacket service.
