Default Can I transfer money from one paypal account to another?

HI ,
Im a newbie on this forum and have a few questions if any one would be able to shine some light, Id be very appreciative.
Just a quick overview about my situation....
I live in Brunei and post on Ebay UK.

I got suspended by a VERo for 7 days in july. To get reinstated, I ( probably mistakenly after reading the info here!) sent them a copy of my passport, utility bill and got reinstated after 3 weeks only to be suspended 5 days later ... for selling a UK 2.99 item which was complained about by another VERo.. my stupidity I guess!
Ebay said no chance of reinstatement since I had just signed their agreement etcetc
Anyway like everyone else, Id love to be able to get back on.

First query....A friend has kindly given me permission to use her paypal and ebay account as she has had it for ages but hardly ever uses it. Is there anyway I can transfer the funds from her paypal account to my paypal account? She is not verified as she never kept the ID vefirification # paypal sent on her credit card.

Secondly, can I buy and use these virtual credit cards start up a new account if Im here in South east Asia?
Thirdly, I have read great info on this site but many are saying that Ebay Replay e book is well worth buying....???

Would really appreciate some of your wise advise as you all seem very knowledgable!!!...
Cheers

Ah... no, only the top 1% of this country sip tea from jewel encrusted cups!

Have worked here over 10 years so have taken an infintessimally small part of the top mans assets.. sadly. Hence a nice wee side business on EB... should I say, HAD!
I have read the lastest guide on how to get on and stay on but having already 'exposed' a fair bit of myself to EB ingnorantly to be reinstated once, I need more info how to do this without revealing any more!!

When I start a brand new auctiva account once I have a new IP address , can I upload any photos I used with the last auctions or does all have to be new? Someone mentioned photo bucket but have never looked at that yet.

Any info would be very appreciated,
cheers
Fran

Thanks for all the info.. can you point me to the thread which deals with transferring money from one paypal to another please?

We can use PP using the local banks here only for buying but for some odd reason , not for accepting money which is a right royal pain....so I have to use my bank details from my country of origin so bet that gets them scratching their heads!

Cheers
Fran

well, one way to transfer money to another paypal account, would just be to use the send money option. but her account would charge a percentage as if it were a sale i believe.

I'm wondering if the "risky" activity that got my newest PP account limited consisted of sending a $10 payment to it from a well established PP account just to have enough to buy a few things and get started with some FB. I don't think so because the limitation didn't occur until like 3 weeks later

I think my PayPal accounts in Japan are much better off than US ones. I have 3 now, one received several $100-ish payments for almost $4000 in the first week, the other nearly $1000 in a month and this latest one $300 in 2 days, all without being limited or any other information needed than my credit card and bank account. :D

So we keep getting this "all new" paypal accounts line...did Paypal not limit accounts like that a couple years back? What exactly are we referring to just to establish the facts? I never had a problem with limitations for extra data--not once--when I started accounts previously. Is this some new security measure that they've instituted in the last couple years?

I just started a Paypal account about 2 weeks ago. I have had about$200 flow into it so far. But I always use their internal USPS delivery system and I always keep the money within Paypal. I never try to withdrawl it. I usually just use the chump change to buy things I need on Ebay. So far so good

I'm thinking that money sent from a newer account to a more seasoned account and then deposited will make much less waves with them than the other way around.

Jack dont you think that is a little suspect? I mean even my little kid can catch on to that. I dont think it will work for one I tried it and others have tried it and said it doesnt work . But hey, it may work for you.

You may be able to do it a few times as long as it isnt on the same IP but after awhile Paypal will catch on.

Well I would think it would be much less suspect than a seasoned account to a new account.

Am I right?

How is it that persons are able to accept large ammounts of funds on a non verified account without getting limited. I remember Ebay sucks mentioned he haad over $6000 sitting in his account and it wasnt verified yet, however if i accept more than $500 on my non verified account its limited by the second purchase (of course i had already moved the orginal ammount to my main account for back up purposes).

Also Does anyone know if there is a leniency difference with Paypal Canada and Paypal US? Because i really feel as though Canadian paypal accounts get limited for any and everything. Once you sell more than a few items you are limited because you dont have the history i suppose. But how the hell are you ever suppose to get the history if you keep getting limited!
