Happened to me also before 2 days for an 600$ withdrawal on a 12m old legit pp account.
Called and spoke with some rep and told me that this is some random checkings before withdrawal's approval not as usually before.

I'm noticing it happening with low limit PayPal accounts or new accounts. High limit accounts I haven't seen it happen.

Step 1: Login to your PP the normal way.
Step 2: Once already logged in, go DIRECTLY to this link:
http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...withdraw-funds

You will get to the old page and be presented with all withdrawal options for your particular account.

Keep in mind there are a number of these "hidden" pages in the PayPal GUI that map to existing (or inaccessible) functions. There are also special API calls into the backend of the site. Some of these pages are for "administrative" use which I obviously am not at liberty to discuss on this board.

The "classic" pages however have always been there, and they may function a little differently than the "new" site we usually see.

worked for me...great post

Has anybody seen a 12 hour withdrawal hold to a business debit card from a business PayPal account when immediate transfer is chosen. They do not charge the 1% and they always clear.

Yep.

And once they did this to me for a week straight and I was withdrawing 2/day.
It finally doesn't get anymore hold after that.

Yes, I have seen this too while w/d to a debit card. It was usually a result of a higher than average risk sale on eBay.

Re: "Your Transfer Is Delayed 48 Hours" Message

I think it is because it the PayPal account is still relatively new I have had this for 2 weeks now and the money still goes in. The eBay account just got an increase yesterday on items to sell, that is twice in 2 weeks, my products are low risk consumable items.

I just thought I would ask as nobody as far as I can see mentions a 12 hour hold before. I will wait it out until the account matures.

Does the classic link still work?

I've had this happen to quite a few accounts, tried 72 hours too and 12, always went smooth, transfer was never stopped.

Honestly I can't tell you if it's safe or not, all I can tell you like I posted above - I've had this happen to me at least 50+ times on 10+ different accounts, it's never ever caused me issues in the long run. And i've never ever had a withdrawal be stopped either.

I had an account where iot happened with every single withdrawal, although I only withdrew once a week and small amounts. Yesterday the account got suspended indefinitely without explanation. The account was about 3 years old.
