 Weirdest Thing
Ok, so we can all agree PayPal blows. But yesterday my girlfriends account got an email stating that due to recent activity blah blah blah they needed her to provide ID and information about transactions from 4/27-05/01. Everything on her account is legit and matching and she doesn't even sell anything on ebay. The only transactions were her brother sent her $300 to buy a new phone and the very next day she bought a phone using the mercari app and paid paypal for $230. Then she transferred the remaining $70 to her bank via her debit card . She got a 24 hr transfer delay but they money came thru the next day no problem. Then 2 days later she got the limitation out of no where. Her account is used only on her computer and she uses the home internet to log in to paypal & ebay (I never use the home wifi for doing anything on ebay/paypal). The only other thing she did was she added a new debit card to withdraw the remaining funds since she had gotten a replacement recently. So its really weird that she would've gotten limited in the first place. But then she upload her ID which name and address are exactly as on the acct and wrote out a detailed statement explaining the transactions. Then she called and there was a 2 hr wait lol so she choose the option for them to call back instead. So they call 2 hrs later and of course it just hangs up when she answered lol. Then she received an email this morning stating that they are unable to lift the limitations on the account. Of course no reason or explanation. Just were really sorry but go f*ck yourself pretty much. Never dealt with this and don't know what to tell her to do. Any advice or has anyone ever dealt with this? Thanks
