If it is after 180 days, there are no chargebacks and no major complaints... then paypal legally can not hold your money. In the US they are classified as a payment processor not a bank. They are only supposed to process payment and give it to you. That being said the 180 days is legal but hey paypal does what it wants it was a monopoly after all.

saddly the account is stealth and most likely paypal knows it so they are confident that you can do nothing about it

Still the same problem. Not resolved yet. Contacted them they said they will put another 180 days hold (when it has been 180 days for this paypal already).
And they apparently blocked my address I cannot send check out.
Still have 5 accounts locked, cannot even login! I think more people are getting this problem now. I am not the only one. Big issue!

Using any real persons details is always a NONONO. Either you go creative, or this might happen. But still, send them docs they need, as currently no any other way of getting that sorted. Also, now they sometimes require second form of ID, in my case although they had my ID, they also wanted to see the drivers as well to release the funds.

the funds get released to the state if you do not log in once to your account within two years..paypal never keeps the money..they make interest..but after a while..by law..it goes to whatever state your account is registered in and then when no one claims it..the state keeps it
