eBay's bots are VERY good (and I mean VERY) at spotting PATTERNS.

eBay is excellent when it comes to Statistical Analysis. Don't underestimate their machine learning capability of identifying patterns.

You might very well get away with a one off purchase of buying from yourself- maybe, but do it again and you'll be certain there will be a link. That one link combined with other links will create a hard link.

Go ahead, if you think you can outsmart them. :)

Things like the 99p / $1 store are a much better place to get items that you can sell for a small loss but in doing so build up a lot of feedback. Sometimes you can even turn a profit!

Also instead selling electronics who can malfunction , he will better sell socks, ties... very easy to earn feedback and just enough money to pay an escort as a reward for your effort :bored::bored:

fish food is a good example to easy make some money and tons off feedback, buy in bulk and resell online. it's a huge market for it. fish tank decorations, etc.

Yep but watching all the disperate topics around here I can see that every singe account sooner or later will get spotted. Start selling slow will never work for someone who is selling higher value items or it will work for a period of time and then you might loose a big chunk of money

Work on building multiple accounts as well.

A nice idea would be selling first like 5-10 items that go for 99 cents, and after that, another 5 - 10 items that are like 10 - 20 usd each. That would create strong and very organically looking account.

Better lo loose some 20 - 30 bucks on selling at a loss, and getting a good account, rather than trying to sell some risky garbage and getting yourself suspended in the end. There are no cutting corners in stealth.
