Hellish experience trying to buy with PayPal.
So my one credit card that paypal liked tried to double my interest rate and I had to close it. I then closed my paypal account too so I could ignore all the phishing emails related to paypal.
So I go to buy something on eBay and unlike a year or two ago, I'm unable to pay for something without making a paypal account.
So I try making one giving them my credit card and paypal refuses the credit card time and time again. I don't have another one to give them, either. It's hell.
PayPal is even worse for buying than it is selling.
Oh and this is on an account with real info, real cards (not prepaid), etc.
I have no problem getting eBay and PayPal to take fa_ke info and prepaid cards, but real info they just hate. In fact when I first started using that account, I made a real account with my real info, and eBay refused it and demanded verification before I could make bids, so I changed the info on that to fa_ke and took a year old forum posting account and changed its fa_ke info to my real info and eBay liked it. Oh and I make buyer accounts with fa_ke info all the time and eBay lets them buy all they want, but anything with real info, eBay/PayPal won't let them buy or pay. Typical of eBay/PayPal, they like fa_ke info and hate real info.
