No, that's not it. There are laws that prevent banks from sharing any personal info about you. If anything they are seeing discrepancies in CNAM records and using that as a reason to tighten security on your account.

Don't try applying for the Paypal debit card if this is a stealth account. (I think that's what you're talking about, since there isn't a Paypal prepaid card that I know of).

Maybe you could try to use the card withdrawal feature like the rep was saying? They are (understandably) pushing card withdrawals over bank withdrawals now since they profit on card withdrawals but often take a loss on bank withdrawals. I don't know what the requirements are. I do know that only certain debit/credit cards will work. I think it's at least worth looking into in your case.

They can't link bank accounts with phone numbers.
And banks should allow that since it's a private thing.

Today allowed to me withdraw $10 my debit card. I will wait a few days more and try this time $100

I highly doubt that. Their interest is probably in you being able to verify the phone number you have on file so they can mark that you passed that security check and then they will add your bank account.

Should I use a different phone then tracfone to get this to work? I am using tracfone as suggested.

I spoke with them 30 hours ago, same lie. Wait 24 hours, it will work. Add your bank. Did not work, same issue. The second rep said it will work now, clear cookies and cache and wait 24 hours, did not work.

It must be the phone number then?

Wells Fargo wants 10.00 per month fee on all accounts. So the more stealth I make the more they want 10.00 per month. Are you guys who use Wells paying these fees or is there something I am missing?

if you make 10 many times purchase monthly with your linked debit card, amount not important, you can avoid monthly fee for Wells Fargo checking account..

They told me I needed to have a 300.00 direct deposit to avoid the fees. Wells is a new bank for me. Are you saying if I use the card 10 times in a month the fee is waived on each account? I am not linking my debit card to my stealth, only a secondary savings account.

I am using Wells Fargo Business Savings accounts for many of my stealths. The base fee is $6.00 /mo. There is a $300 minimum to keep in the accounts to avoid this fee, or you can link it to a checking account and auto-schedule a $25 /mo payment into savings to also waive the fee.

All my accounts with WF are business under different LLC's. I have yet to have any problems with mismatched names.

If you keep monthly $300 minumum in your saving account you can avoid
For easy way checking account use your debit card (linked to this checking acoount) 10 times for avoid fees
If you have multiple accounts have to do same to avoid monthly fees

Phone wi fi hotspot with a new ip each time which I keep track of. I have made other accounts using same method no issues. Could be the tracfone number was used before? 169.00 in this paypal and no way to get it out I am assuming.

Tired of the lies by paypal. They told me 4 times, wait for 24 hours and it will work. Never happened. So I did the next move on them I cannot waste time on dealing with them lying.

I created a new user account, flipped my name a bit, added a brand new bank and off we go. Guess you have to go to phase two if these liars wont fix a simple issue. They kept asking me if someone else in the home has an account. I said no, they said are you sure? Guessing the previous owner had an account and it got banned.

Anyway worked around their lies and got a new paypal up and running. Now have a couple new stealths running thanks to all of you guys helping me. Thank everyone for helping a newbie like me. I hope I can help someone else someday.

can you help me open a bank account for my LLC/EIN?

i am outside of USA with a WY LLC formed and want to find a USA lawyer or anyone know relevent bank policy to help open a business bank account.

You will be a authorized signer to open the bank account under LLC name and EIN .

For reference:
"Any officer authorized in operating agreement, or attorney for LLC, may open LLC bank account."

amazonp, look into using a "registered agent" in USA. Someone who does this sort of thing professionally.

Not the best idea reaching out to random members on a forum for help incorporating your business and whatnot.

That would be stupid. No one is going to do that. Talk about opening up yourself to ID theft etc.
