PAYPAL ASK SSN after 180 days hold of funds

I got some serious problems with paypal recently. It looks like they won't release the funds unless I can provide SSN. Here is the chat with them.
They asked SSN or Paystub or W-2 or EIN or ITIN

ME:I don't have income. These documents are all related to SSN

I am sorry, you can only provide any of these documents instead of SSN. Without this you will not be able to access funds.

I'm not sure to understand your issue.
Paypal had previously limited your account for 180 days, now 180 days have passed and they asked you for the SSN.
And you replied saying
"I am not a citizen. So I don't have SSN".

In the United States, a Social Security number (SSN) is a number issued to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and temporary (working) residents by the Social Security Administration, an independent agency of the United States government.

Did you have bank attached to your account?

How much is in the account?

If you provide a SSN now you would be committing fraud in their eyes and may make it much worse....

They have limited it for over 180 days and I was able to withdraw but withdrawals were canceled. Contacted them and they said they have to see SSN. I am sure they can spot a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ number so I told them I don’t have it. And they said they won’t release the funds if I cannot provide it. I have other accounts, checks show “ completed “ but I never got anything. I am sure they didn’t even send it. Because I never miss any letter in the past many years.

Yes. By checks. It has $4000 in it. I have some other accounts with the same problem.

so the chekz never came. money got returned to you PP acct. you called them and then they said they cant send the funds until you send ssn... and you have no access to banks???

I do have banks but I cannot open like 100 bank accounts because I have more than 100 paypals. Checks were good until I run into this serious issue. I told them I don't have SSN and they don't accept my answer. They asked me to call them .I called and they don't even know what I should do next... They told me to wait and wait.

you may have NO other choice but to add a bank in this case tho...

For you to be constantly losing PayPal accounts (more than 100) sounds a little fishy...

True. But is there a legitimate reason for having 100 PayPal accounts though?

If you focus on a few and build them up, you can easily put through a lot of sales on each.

However, if OP needs a substantial amount of bank accounts, best thing to do is open a few at a time, close them a few months later, open another set, and keep doing that.

Opening and closing too many banks at the same time is a red flag.
