Credit union didnt accept the micro deposits
 

Ok,so I opened a new ebay/pp awhile back to have on standby. I used a local credit union as bank but they didnt accept the micro deposits I'm assuming cuz theres no bank listed in my paypal now. I tried resubmitting the info and it dont take it. Is this account toast or can I just use a different bank?

How long did you wait for the micro deposits to go through?

Are you sure the routing and account number are accurate?

It is very rare for a credit union to not accept a deposit and if they did not, normally they would let you know why.

Some credit unions don't like mismatched deposits.

I once had a share Checking Account closed PayPal sent the micro deposits. It was Golden One Credit Union in California.

I waited the 2 days and checked..nothin. Next day..nothing. Re entered routing and acct number because pp showed no bank and it wont take the bank. It's no big deal as long as I can add a different bank. Got no notifications from paypal so..
Oh ,and I checked transactions on the credit union account and there ain't none. Not even after wks

WHAT IS THEIR ROUTING NUMBER,ACH is for members of the Fed Reserve system,you can check their routing number on Fed site,credit union is not a bank,it could be using a bank to clear payments

I would double check the account number you used. They can be confusing with CU's.

Ya credit unions are usually no problem I would check the numbers again it can get confusing with the numbers sometimes like phaz said I’ve never had a problem with a credit union

Well my bank took it but it showed up, I called them and they said yeah, 5 cents and 11 cents, another bank it showed up as one for 21 cents, when I called they said 10 cents and 11 cents, Sometimes Banks be stupid

Only credit union I've tried so far hasn't accepted mismatched names. Safe 1 California. Bank of A and Capital one have been great.

When I entered the numbers in pp it did show the right credit union. I'm really not worried about it too much. I can add a different bank then I'm good. I do appreciate the knowledgeable feedback though.

not all credit unions are created equal,did you say it is a small union,1500 members????

I'm not really sure to be honest. They must be pretty small cuz I had to physically go there to make the initial deposit. They wouldnt do it online. Should have been an indicator..lol

I was only saying to double check the account number you used because it sucks to waste a bank account and credit unions can be funny about the format of their account numbers. To me, at least worth looking into, but ultimately your choice lol.

Right phaz my bank said if it doesn’t accept the s make it a 5 so I totally get what your saying

Oh I'm totally with ya. It's a pain opening and closing bank accounts. I'll try again but last time I did it wouldnt take it at all. I was just guessing cuz it showed everything the first time and said about the deposits

cant see why it does not work,but every now and then someone will complain they did not see the Paypal deposits in their bank account?
