Closing a bank account, but keeping the PP account open?
Anyone ever try this?
I have a couple of PP accounts that I need to add a bank account to. After I add a bank account and supposedly verify the PP account what would happen to the PP account if the BA I used to verify it was closed?
Obviously I would have to transfer $$$ from any account like this to a verified and healthy account to withdraw.
This would be a way to have 2 or 3 PP accounts that have been verified by adding a BA without ending up with all kinds of accounts all over town.

Although, you can't use that bank account on more than one account. So you actually would have to open all those accounts. You'd just have less to keep up with unbeknownst to Paypal. And like Modee said, you obviously couldn't draw from the closed account.
I have cancelled my bank accounts and cards with my first PP account without any notice or care from anyone. I was using the PP debit card to just pull my money out ASAP. Then later added a different BA and new card again with no one showing any attention to it.
The only reason that I brought this up was I was thinking by adding the BA you should get verified and the $500 limit lifted right? By doing that you could sent payments to your healthy PP aco**** and withdraw through that bank account.
Hey you all , correct me if i'm wrong but you all are think just becasue you add a bank account with Paypal that your account is safe..Just becasue you have the $500 lifted Paypal will probably still limit your account as soon as money flows threw.
So just because you add a bank account and get $500 limit lifted your account will be limited as soon as money flows in there and be prepared to supply them with the usually info
Well, I don't plan on relying on PP solely for very long, but seeing as though I won't be running more than a few hundred dollars a month through any one account I'm not too worried right now. Besides, I just got an account de-limited without adding a bank account or ss#.
Sure I'll probably have to do more eventually, but hopefully by then I will have other means for receiving payments.
don't do it modee. that was one of the last things i did before getting all my account suspended last time. it was like a week later and i got suspended. i didn't think anything about it until i just read your post.
