paypal case with ebay account
 

hi guys so a customer wants a refund on a product they were allergic to which isnt really my fault, however they have opened a case on paypal the problem is the ebay account was attached to a paypal address which is now limited and blocked. ive told her to return the product and i will give her a refund the issue is will paypal look into deep enough to realize the ebay id is associated with a banned paypal account and possibly ban my new paypal account?

therefore im thinking of just giving her a refund or will it be ok?

You sold it to her, you're liable. You should not sell food / nutritional supplements on eBay without product liability insurance especially if your supplier is outside the EU or cannot be traced within the UK. [/QUOTE]




I wouldn't think about it twice especially if you can afford it. Why jeopardise your business by contemplating weather a refund is Ok or not? A refund is going to make your problem disappear and keep PayPal at the gates for now.

Refund him/her and be done with it.

If you are running a business you need to add these "ad-hoc" costs in to your business plan.

No one has it as we sellthem as food supplements its like getting allergic from fish at restaurant you can't tell them to refund your food bill i would of faught it tillthe end but i dont want to jeopardise a good business i have going for this case :(
