Default "We can't verify its you"

Paypal won't let me withdraw any money

"We can't verify its you"

Tried adding a new bank but didn't work. Been like this for weeks now

Called them and they wanted to ask questions but said I had no credit history at my address so they couldn't proceed.

Then they said i have to stop using a VPN and if i log in after 24 hours without the VPN it should let me access the money.

I can get a Fresh IP and login but I highly doubt i will be able to withdraw the money. I've used this account for 4 years with the same VPN and no issues before now


Is it worth adding a new phone number and verifying it?

If you can get a new ip why not try it as they suggest? might not work but whats too lose.

i'm doing that tomorrow but just posting for some advice since i know its not going to work

if i tether my mobile phone to my PC will the new IP address from there be ok if i've never used my phone with papyal before?

No issue to do that.

Just make sure you put the phone in flight mode and then take it back out before creating a wifi hotspot.

you could try to send the money to a person or shop where you have sent money in the past

Try do what they told you to do.. It mainly depends on the usefulness of this particular account. You seem so sure that it won't work, but I still suggest you try it so long you don't waste your resources trying to get it working.

i connected via my phone tether and tried again. Got a bit further this time and it actually let me add the bank account sort and account number.
But then it encountered and "unknown error" and wouldn't complete.
Before doing this i also added a new phone number and verified it

now coming up with the same error again

How often do you try?
I would suggest let it rest for a couple days and try again.

Seeing as you added a new phone number, you will probably have to wait for a few weeks before being able add new bank which is part of their internal security.

Whenever PP say something like:

"Oh, you'll have to add a social security to get the account unlocked"

"Oh, you have to get off VPN and use your home IP"

ppl need to remember that this is BULL****. They are trained to say these things but
they are not the solution to the problem. Basically they are just lieing.

I have had one of these issues a few months ago and got the same lines from PP.
In the end, 2 weeks later a rep looked at my account and said "Dunno why the system blocked the withdrawal", then unblock it and it's been normal since.

i think she just wanted to say something so i'd hang up. throw me bone

Something happened to one of accounts a month ago where I couldnt withdraw money. .paypal keep giving me a message....after 5 days I was able to butbthey took 72 to send it...I think when you start getting these problems your account will be limited..after that withdraw I was limited...

The first and easiest solution is to let the acc to rest for few days after that other solution can be tested

waited 9 days to try again and now getting

"Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later"

I'm doubtful just waiting is going to fix this :(

And i have 200 a day going in there at the moment that i can't access

I would stop that 200 a day going in there - especially if there is a chance it could get locked for 180 days and then the fight really starts :(

well i don't want to lose 200 a day in revenue
or risk losing one of only two paypal accounts i have remaining that have been running 5+ years by switching to one of those :(

You already are losing 200 revenue a day because that revenue you can’t access ... trust me in 10 days time when you have 2000 locked up it’s going to hurt more ... as much as it hurts stop right now and try to get that PayPal up and running again
