Re: PayPal transfers being denied?
I've been getting the same thing for a while now. I try the instant transfers to my debit card, and its hit or miss. Sometimes I'll try a transfer for $20 and it transfers instantly. Then I'll try $20 again and it tells me that its delayed. Sometimes right after doing that $20 transfer which was delayed, I'll do a transfer of $100 and it goes through instantly.
I talked to PayPal about it and they said its pretty much random and there's no way they can override it. Not sure what they do in these reviews exactly. The rep told me sometimes they release the funds earlier than the estimated time they give you. But so far every delayed transfer has been delivered to the exact minute of when they said it would be.
A few weeks ago it was a 72 hour delay, which kinda sucked. Now I'm randomly getting 12 hour delays, which aren't bad at all as I'll wake up the next day with the funds. I'm starting to think that some of this has to do with the source of funds, and more so the buyer rather than your account. For instance I see more delays with FB Marketplace transactions than anything. Same thing goes for which transactions have holds and which ones don't. It's random it seems. |
