PayPal pretending to be retarded
 
I have an account that was limited 8 months ago, they asked for some info, I supplied, they said "Appeal denied" and shut down the account.

Sometime a few weeks ago I got an email saying my funds were available for withdraw.

I tried to add a bank account to withdraw, and it gave me an error saying there is a problem with your account.

I called support and they told me to send them an email authorizing transfer to another paypal account.

I did this. They sent me an email saying they cannot do this because my account is limited.

I replied saying I just want to withdraw funds.

They copy&pasted instructions for how to withdraw funds via bank account.

I replied saying it doesn't work.

They copy & pasted the same instructions again.

I replied again, they replied again, ..... and this has been going on for a week, every day I explain the situation to them hoping the next customer service agent won't be retarded, but they just copy paste the same thing over & over.

How do I get my money out??

Keep calling them, untill you get a rep who will add the bank for ya on your paypal :)

Keep calling until you get through to someone with a brain cell. Few and far between at paypal though

The UK phone lines are down it seems, that's why I'm stuck emailing these guys. I email them every day hoping the next guy is less retarded than the last, but no luck so far.

go to Paypal seller forum and see if you can catch a Paypal rep who could help you.
Iwonder your problem is -you are trying t o add a new bank account to withdraw money,rather than withdrawing to an existing bank account .

Yes there was never a bank account attached so I have to add a new one.

Can't, OP is from the UK. UK bank account only to withdrawal unless they now allow cards.

I heard UK Paypal members can withdraw via debit card FREE.

Hmmm, must be fairly recent development? I see it in the help docs for PayPal UK now.

Yes I tried this too, it doesn't either; I get the same error.

If you succeed in adding bank account anew, it may trigger another doc request.
They may then send you into another loop of denying/requesting further docs.

Quite strange how things seem not to work when you've waited for 180 days and it's time to cash out.

Some do manage to send their fund to another PAYPAL account.

Where is this forum?

I have a mastercard attached to the account, but it doesn't let me withdraw to it (probably because mastercard doesn't allow withdrawals exceeding deposits)

I _THINK_ the problem is that originally, 8 months ago they asked me for ID and a bank statement for my credit card. The ID was Ok but the statement was denied. And then they just limited the account.

Now when I look at the limitation, it says the ID is confirmed but the bank statement is stuck on "pending". So the account seems to be in limbo, and the paypal fukwits can't figure out how to fix it.

I read a few people on here saying that if you add an account via the mobile app it will allow it, must be a loophole in their system (one of many lol)

Ive also noticed you never/rarely get any withdrawal holds i.e. 48 / 72 hours if you withdraw using the app.

make sure you do not use a vpn and not payoneer as bank.
if they keep pretending beeing dumb writte a mail to crc@paypal.com and explain them the situation again. here they can not pretend dumb because it is the escalation department (but it will take 1 month until they answer)

How are you adding bank accounts to the app? When I try, it tells me that the app doesn't support this and I need to use the website.
