Working Customer Service number?

Hi, does anyone have a working phone number that I can use to talk with a human? When I call the usual phone number I'm told that customer service is not working because of COVID.

Good luck. A big client of mine has been trying to get ahold of Paypal customer service for the past month and a half.

There is no such number, all phone lines are closed because of corona virus according to paypal. You just have to wait when paypal opens phone lines again. Hard to say when, but I think they will probably do it this fall.
Until then you can only send messages to paypal when logged in to your account.
You are not the only one asking for help here, I have noticed in paypal facebook page, thousands of people are with problems and are responding to paypal posts but paypal is playing with their nerves and still has not opened phone lines yet. Of course that is bad from this company, but they can do whatever they want in excuse to corona virus.

Things like account access when phone number is wrong or cannot log in because of error can be resolved through phone lines only. So if you have limited account or cannot log in to existing account the only solution then is to create new paypal account right now.
