Link bank account on stealth PP using instant verif. instead of the small deposits?

I'm trying to link my recently created BMO Harris account into my PayPal account (mismatched names) using the 2 small deposits, but I'm not able to because it keeps giving me this error: "Sorry we can't link your bank account right now".

The alternative would be to link it using the instant method (which requires User ID + Pass), but is it safe? I mean can PayPal see my real name on the bank account if I login? Please let me know if anyone tried it already and had success.

Yes it is safe.
But you might run into the same error trying to add it - I don't think it has anything to do with the method youre using to verify the bank account. Sounds more like a security error.
