Maltese Postcode not being accepted

Hello everyone
I am trying to make a paypal account but since i live in malta it is telling please check postcode format altough i have checked it several times and i entered it correct

Your country allows you to make a PP account or is it a USA account you're trying to create?

try with space eg "swq 3000" or "swq3000".
I didnt even know malta has postcodes after living 2 years there

Had the same issue with my Cyprus PP a while Ago but there was an option "No postcode" or somthing like that..
Donno if Still availble..
