International ID Card in The USA

Hi!

I have a PP account that is in need of an ID. Luckily that's the only doc that's needed which tells me that it's probably not that big of a security risk right now. My question is will a ID from another country work? Do they have a way of checking databases in different countries?

Oef, first of all if it's a different country ID they'll be suspicious.
Second, the fact they are asking for an ID... I'm assuming the account is limited?

Yes temp limitations. We have a huge immigrant population here in the states and often some arrive with out proper documentation.

Likely not - but they could check that the "number on the ID" fits a certain country-type of algorithm

I know about PS and public records work as i am a former skip tracer. Any suggestions? If so please pm me and i can find the current demographic information for the pet st on in question. I just need to be pointed in the right direction.

When you upload the ID it is scanned to check the document is genuine. Plenty of tell tale signs it's not. Then the software reads and pulls the data to do a soft ID check.

All this costs them pennies to do.

This is also all dependent on what your limitation is as I've noticed sometimes none of the above is done.
