Submitting EIN

I've done this on a number of accounts and have never had this prompt come up when doing so.

It's asking me to verify my address and under penalty of perjury sign my name (which is different than the name on the account)

I'm assuming if I enter my real name as the signature it won't go through.

Why wouldn't it? It's your own company.

I've done the same process a number of times and I think I've only had this prompt come up once and it was an account that actually had my name on it. Usually you just type in the EIN number and it says Thank you. Your information has been submitted. No prompts or additional info to fill out.

Just an update-

Instead of signing my name I signed as my business name. So let's say my business name was Jerry's Deli. For first name I put Jerry's and last name I put Deli and it was accepted.
