Will a Friends info but your bank account work for PP?

I am using a friends info on PP and ebay so all info is the same for both but is it ok to use my own cc and bank account since the name on pp acc. is his but has my bank acc. and cc.? So basically everything is in joe blows name but my acc. or will they see that the acc. doesnt match up joe blows name?

It could be an issue with your bank account... it depends who you're with.

As for the CC.. use Simon instead.

Yes, you can do that with most banks.

im with a local branch. So it depends on the bank i guess? And why use Simon instead? Simon is a gift card? By the way i just opened the acc. i just figured if i do it and and it doesnt work then the acc. cant be used for another PP acc. right? Im just figuring this stuff out so some questions may sound stupid.

I would suggest spending a few hours searching and reading through the threads and posts before getting started on eBay again.

Or better yet...get the Stealth Book and have most of your answers in one place.

Ya i purchased the book already but i guess i dont completely understand everything yet. Ive tried to do it step by step but not sure about a few things maybe you can help. So if i understand right I should use the same name and info on my new ebay acc. that i would use on my new pp account right so far? then i can actually use my real bank acc. and cc/debit card and that will work unless the bank doesnt allow which may vary cause some banks will and some wont right?

yes use your real bank account , as long as its never been on a previous paypal before.

Yes all my info matches from ebay to pp. just double checking if my NEW never been used bank acc is ok to put on pp since my name on bank acc. is diiferent than the name on pp? which i beleive is ok from what you are saying correct? Thanks

yes... you are correct... Paypal does not see the name on your Bank account , only the numbers you type in, routing and account number.

Yeah that will work. Paypal cannot see the name on the bank account.

ok thanks how do i do that? and where is it? oh by the way what im tring to do may not work cause some banks dont allow this correct? and this is why the book says to use certain banks? also whats the differnce between a real cc/debit than a gift card which th book says to use? and is it better to use the gift card? i know he says use simon.com i believe.

use Simon. I ahve never had any trouble with them... later if you want you can experiment with other alternatives.

Some banks will bounce back your deposits from Paypal if the name doesnt match , but that is the bank , not Paypal. When you transfer FROM Paypal your bank sees the name attached to the transfer and some banks do not like this and wont accept the deposit.

BTW

Its Simon gift account , and they give you the CC # online. Im telling you this because you can also order a real card by mail on Simon.com

They both work the same , but you dont have to wait on the gift account to come in the mail
