bank account question!

hey guys.. getting ready to make a new account. i just opened up a new bank account under bank of america, and the routing number is the same as the account i had before...

i have 2 checking accounts under BOA and i was wondering if having the same routing number will give me a problem?

No the same routing number is fine. There's probably a lot of in your area that use the same bank with paypal, which means they have the same routing number.

I have basically the same setup as you describe xoxbabiixtina and have experienced no issues yet

Alot of towns routing #s match the city the bank is in. I think it helps the Gov to track the city the evil do'ers are banking in.

boa gives out routing numbers by state (or it may be city- but I actually called them last month about that) so you're fine- everyone in your state has that routing number
