Can PayPal recognize the phone?

Can PayPal recognize the phone they send verification codes to? If I verify multiple paypal accounts with the same smartphone but under different sim cards, is there a chance that my accounts would get linked because it's the same phone?

I can confirm that Paypal or Ebay cannot recognize the device info when receiving the verification code.

I'd say being involved with customers my whole life has given me this drive to help others and give customers the best experience.

I'd like to add that i'm coming from a English backfround, raised in the village side and studying in one of the top Universities in London City.

I just tried to bypass phone verification with a fresh ATT Prepaid and number and error came back saying we cant accept numbers from those types of devices. So paypal must be able to detect something about the phone or number being generated from a prepaid account.

Never use the phone app of paypal, cause that will get your accounts linked.
They can't see what is the phone but only the sim card,which is the phone number you've provided, if they have issue with it you'll get a message as the above person mentioned.
