PP Buyer warranty

Can a buyer still open below cases even after 180 days of transactions & PP still sides with them? And you as seller still have to bear unfair cost.
item not received
item not as discribed
unauthorised payment through bank

Thank you for your replies.

Re: PP Buyer warranty

if he used a credit card,he may still be able to file chargeback with his cc issuer,in some countries ,it is more than 180 days

In theory the answer is no, no and no for all claims via paypal particularly for monies they already had in their paypal account.

But if they funded the purchase via a card and go direct to their providers then yes, yes and yes.

but if they file a charge back, their account themselves are toast because PP hates that.

There are more chargebacks now ,back in old days,Paypal will make an effort to fight for you,but no more, they just pass your story to the cc issuer, most of the time you lose and Paypal will just take the money out of your account and make you pay $20 chargeback fee.
Your account is still active, whether PAYPAL hates it or not.
If Paypal closes every account which has chargeback,Paypal will lose many accounts

Case 1
So are you saying after 180 days of transaction date, a buyer CAN NOT start/open a case against seller, if they made transaction with PP balance money.
Cases are ,item not received, item is not as described,

case 2
But a buyer can still open/start case even after 180 days, if they made transaction paying through the bank/Credit debit card attached to PP, and PP will side with them

In case 1, I have just tried opening a case for test and it is still allowing me to open the case, I am surprised, OR it will still allow to open the case but PP will not force seller to refund.

I am not a scammer, but as seller I have to deal with scammers,

Couple of my PP acc are limited and waiting for 180 days release, just wonder what happens if some buyer still continue to file cases even after 180 days of original transaction.

Case 1 happened to me, I just received an email from Paypal that the buyer opened a case but it was past 180 days, so no consequences.
