What is the deal with PayPal? I have been selling for years now and then today a buyer filed a complaint saying they didnt receive a video game that I sold them. They bought the game back on Sep. 30th and just filed today. Now, this money was being held for 21 days anyways because of me listing it in the video games category and the money hasnt cleared yet and since i shipped via fedex i never entered tracking info. Well, Paypal is now holding 10.50 from my available funds for this dispute. I thought the whole 21 day hold policy was put in place that if this happens they are already holding the money anyways and will not have to take it from me but apparently not. They are still holding the funds for the 21 days and they are also taking 10.50 from me as well. So, all together I am out 21 bucks because they always take the buyer side no matter what. Is there anything i can do? They are already holding the funds for 21 days so how can they go and take more money from me when the actual funds are being held and thats what the policy was set in place for.

First, never, never ship anything without entering tracking number in paypal. Second, refund the buyer..$10.50 lesson learned. Next time when paypal sees tracking number and delivered, your money will be in your account much sooner.
