Anyone banned on PayPal and running a real Venmo?

My Paypal account was banned ($0 balance) with real info. Can I use my real info to make a Venmo?

Venmo is owned by PayPal, not sure if they cross reference data. I know eBay use to cross reference data with Paypal when they were the same company

I got banned on PayPal and and they used my bank account on file to find my Venmo. I signed up to Venmo with a new cell number and bank account and it is working fine for the last 2 months. My wife had a PayPal and Venmo and she got banned on PayPal but her Venmo never went down because she had no matching account linked. when she called PayPal the lady told her they are totally separate systems and only the bank account or CC number can Link them.

It's a really grey area. I'd not use the same bank info or CC at the very least.
