Logging into Old aged PayPal’s

I have a bunch of old aged PayPal’s I want to start using to make purchases

But problem is I don’t have the cookies anymore.

When I log in, it’ll ask for a security check with phone. Sometimes it doesn’t but when I try to add a credit card or try to use it, it’ll ask for a phone check

Any tips on how to get back into using these aged PayPal’s ?

Do I start browsing history, change phone number a week later?
Or are these aged PayPal’s with no cookies pretty weak accounts?


Do I have to keep the number active for these accounts ?

Yes, you always need to have the phone numbers active...

Without the active phone number for the accounts, they are toast.

Let account sit in new laptop for a week then add a new number?

If you can do that then yes.

Rule of thumb is don't be cheap or cut corners. keep everything current and up to date.

Contact Paypal and change the phone number, as long as you can confirm your details and still have the active email then it's fine.

That's how it works in the UK at least

it's similar for USA too.
But it's not a guarantee it'll always work.
