Default How Likely is paypal to take legal action

Hey all hope youre well,

Ive made around 15 accounts or something with no VPN just a temp number/email ( i got locked out due to the number so many times) the only info i changed was the name and original adress of the account

I used to have 2 verified paypals which they decided to close

I used to have no problem using a vcc like revolut and just cashout, but now when i try add a card i get met with ' your card has been declined please use another source' even though i used around 4 cards over 3 banks so im guessing ive been banned im not too sure

Is there a chance paypal actually try and arrest me/press charges? Im not doing anything mega scale ive probably amassed 500-800GBP from those accounts which is not a lot in the grand scheme of things

Any replies are appreciated

Revolut just doesnt work anymore

Are you using the paypals for just selling on?

It was just for taking payments for my small business (4GBP at most 80GBP every once in a while) i would cashout to revolut instantly, until either paypal limits my account or i lose access to temp mail and would repeat the process. I never used any ⊗⊗⊗⊗ id

The disposable Revolut card does not work anymore. This is a decision by Revolut and not Paypal.

The multi-use virtual cards still work fine.

More often than not when you get this message " your card has been declined please use another source", it is the IP being used that causes the problem. Clearing cookies and then logging back in using a different ISP usually works. That said, I have had one instance where I got this decline message so many times that it effectively became impossible to add a card to the account and so I had to ditch it.

If you are operating legally ie not selling anything dodgy then you are not on anybody's radar and nobody is coming after you.

Thank you for the help i have a few questions

For the ISP can i use a VPN/5g?

I used revolut monzo and starling and got the same error ( I did have like 8 paypal accounts as i would either lose the temp number or be limited - i was only limited on the past 2 accounts for around 8-30 gbp)

Ive ran out of virt cards for the month on revolut is there anything else i can do?

The error appeared on 2-3 new accounts i tried to make one on my phone too

I sell SMM which is not liked by paypal but is completely legal, i dont want paypal to consider me for something such as fraud for making many accounts

Just stick to 5G. That will give you clean solid IPs

Paypal won't care of your making a few accounts so long as your not scamming anyone

Theres no chance I get in trouble for creating multi accounts under ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name? Is there a sort of limit? I never use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ id i just make em and will do ill make one with 5g and see if it works Thank you

I plan to find some longer temp number services so i can keep an account up for a week or so

Also i require payments sent friends and family to protect me from scams (they can use the services then chargeback) could paypal consider me them scamming them? It comes from multiple random accounts

multiple f&f payments can cause issues - pp will look at it as possible security issue

I would think that PayPal will not take action against you, if you do not owe them money then definitely not.

Would that lead to possible actual consequences or just the limit/holding

PayPal do not prosecute they hand over information to relevant agencies to investigate, these are usually large fraud cases where the UK National Crime Agency would be involved, so unless you have defrauded PayPal for hundreds of thousands of pounds, do not worry about it.
