AMEX saving accounts -new rule

Effective 4/1/24-
if invalid address is provided,we may suspend your account until valid address is provided OR close your account
If the post office notifies us of a change of address,we may change your address based on that information.
Wonder why AMEX will do that,??

It is sent to everyone,it comes with the monthly statement.

AMEX site was just hacked , last week?

I have not seen other cc issuers like MC,Visa or Discover have issued such statement??

nothing,but there is no place to post it,But if you have linked an AMEX card with your Paypal account then AMEX cancelled your card,then you will need to use other cards.

I think AMEX like other cc issuers are experiencing more deadbeats,some may have moved and have no intention of paying his bills,so AMEX is cancelling his credit card?

i have been alerted from my bank when mail came back undelivered. Seems a wise security move - in case they have bad info on you on file
