Default Halifax saving accounts

Are these working fine? Or is the mandates still being rejected?

Its just i created one of the a week or so ago and it seems ok upto now.

DD mandates will eventually be rejected on every savings accounts as they are not designed for this purpose.

They should only be used with a short term view in mind as they will not last.

Basic banks accounts are readily available and should be used in preference to savings.

If all you want to do is verify your account and cash out another way, savings accounts are perfectly fine. But be prepared for headaches if you expect to use them for withdrawing in the long term.

Weired thing is on those two accounts there's no red flags

On the others i have set up with savers there is but these where created at later dates.
