If you want to use the Paypal debit card,then you need to keep money in your Paypal account.
It will no longer dip into your bank account.
Some folks keep money in their Paypal account to hide from their spouse and some creditors ,

paypal debit card comes with it's own risks and verification though

Totally a risk, even using Paypal is something very risky these days, generally in this world of online sales and stealth accounts we encounter the problems that Paypal generates with our money

The verification has been further increased. They now require to upload ID and selfie over the phone. No more bypassing with payoneer method.

If you use your Paypal debit card as a credit card when making purchase in store,Paypal gives you a 1% cash rebate.
But some stores can tell it is a debit card,Walmart and will accept it as debit card.
These days we get more than 1% from our credit card issuer,up to 6%,so why use our own money via Paypal debit card.
But some folk do not have bank account,so that Paypal debit card come in handy/
