I recently started a new account. PayPal started holding funds for the first few transactions or so. Once I got to around 10 DSR they took off the hold for a couple transactions but now they've reimplemented it back onto my account? Is there something that can influence this (like withdrawing money to my bank account)?

There's some ways around the 21 day hold:

a) wait for someone to buy then mark shipment as sent (blocks buyers ability to buy) then email them invoice through paypal..just think of an excuse why

b) after they sent you the money, refund them (say something happened, idk) and have them resend it to your paypal.

There's always risks in everything we do in life so idk if it's traceable or not.

You'll get popped for Paypal limitation really quick if you keep doing that though

I sell DVD's on Ebay and I ALWAYS 100% get the 21 day hold on EVERY sale until I get 20 DSR's. NO WAY AROUND IT. They put a hold on a .15 cent DVD last night I sold. They will ALWAYS do this. Just play nice until you get the 20 DSR's, DONT try to withdraw too much at once, and you will be fine!

If everybody hates the 21 day hold so much, it's never been much of a problem for me but if it is for you then you should include in your listing that you're not going to ship the item until 21 days or if they want it sooner they can leave feedback and once the money is withdrawn and in your hands the item will be shipped, that's not a secret, I think everyone should be doing it, let paypal eat it up.

Ebay and Paypal are stupid, why do you think self control is power? because people with self control are always at peace and never fighting anyone so there's not much anyone can do to them. Ebay and Paypal are constantly fighting, suspending, and restricting so they will always be in consant battle.

The peaceful ones, the nonstrict people that know how to control their temper can walk all over ebay/paypals face forever, it's just a simple law of nature that will never go away.

A lot of buyers are stupid and don't even read the listing though.

You can just blow it up in big red letters above the description.

So is it confirmed that the 21-day hold goes away after 20 DSR's? I just received my 20th DSR today and I'm eager to start selling the more profitable items...

I hit 20 the other day and havent had a hold since.
